Carolyn Jillson
Sometimes project management is a real balancing act and Carolyn has you covered.
Carolyn, a Doyle Research Group Director and project administrator, has been active in the research world since 1993. Just out of college she worked for an independent qualitative researcher in the non-profit sector. She then acquired solid quantitative training while working for several years at Audits & Surveys Worldwide. In addition, Carolyn spent 5 years analyzing the effects of advertising on building brands, at Hall & Partners USA.
Carolyn joined Doyle Research in 2007 upon returning from three years as a business development volunteer in the Peace Corps. While in the Peace Corps, she designed and implemented workshops to teach rudimentary business skills to rural women and farmers. In order to accomplish anything in Africa, she made use of her advanced skills in problem solving, consensus building and negotiation. In the process, she gained additional patience. Since her return to the U.S., she has been able to use those acquired skills to bring a fresh approach to the management of qualitative research projects.
