Video Diaries
As beneficial as it can be to bring clients and participants together for traditional in-person qualitative, it is not always practical or even, in some cases, desirable.
The VideoDiary™ method is an asynchronous method that allows Doyle researchers to pre-record questions for delivery to participants and, with “one click” answering, allows participants to record their responses from home, work, or even on the go.
The VideoDiary™ method is ideal for homework assignments, self-ethnography, and documenting product use.
VideoDiary™ responses deliver remarkable depth and candid insights and, when combined with hand-held wireless cams, enable consumer-driven ethnographic studies that are an order of magnitude more powerful and cost effective than traditional methods. In particular, they allow a cost effective way to capture rich insights over time (. (i.e. “Each day for the next five days, as you are making the decision about what to prepare for dinner, please talk to me about how that decision is being made, and show me the foods under consideration.”)
Community interaction settings allow researchers to create community-based or anonymous experiences, where participants can view one another’s responses and further respond or collaborate, OR the experience can be completely private so one participant does not influence another with their answer.
Doyle researchers continually observe an expanding list of participant video responses and deliver insights and recommendations in an engaging video report that brings your customer to life.
